Custom E-mail Templates
Introduction
Custom email templates allow you to replace system-generated emails with your own branded HTML design. This is separate from editing the custom order confirmation text at event level, which can be done via Event > Custom > Order Process (available when multi-cart checkout is disabled) - refer to our related Help Article.
There are a range of email templates available to customise, covering everything from booking confirmations and ticket dispatch through to password resets and customer verification.
Note: This function requires the Custom E-Mails module and the use of a custom email domain and is not available directly from the dashboard, but must be activated by your Account Manager, or contact us at support@iwannaticket.com.au
Inital Set up Guide
- Request the custom E-mail module via your Account manager / support team
- Click Settings, Communication then navigate to the E-Mail Senders tab
- Click Add domain, enter your domain and click Create domain
- Contact / log in to your DNS provider and add the DNS records to verify your domain
- Once verified, the record will update in the dashboard

Help Guide
These steps assume you have the feature enabled on your account dashboard.
- Click Settings, Communications then the E-Mail Templates tab
- Click Add templates to open the new template menu (This will display all available templates along with a description of when each is sent)
- Select the Template required for customisation (or to preview), then click Continue
- Edit your email in the HTML editor and use Variables to insert merge fields
- Click Save
A list of your custom templates will display on this screen, with the ability to edit or delete them at any time. To apply a custom template instead of the default, simply select it from the dropdown menu next to the system email and click Save.
We strongly recommend testing each template to ensure it is correctly formatted. If variables are entered incorrectly or the template is not properly formatted in the HTML editor, it will prevent the email from being sent altogether. It is important to check that: (a) the email sends successfully, and (b) it reads and displays as intended.
