How can I create a Group Quantity discount?

Introduction

Quantity Discounts apply automatic, rule-based discounts at checkout when customers meet a set ticket combination, quantity, or value threshold. They are applied automatically to the cart, removing the need for a promo code.

There are 2 types of Rules

  • Group Rule: once the ticket combination rule is met
  • Cart Rule: once the cart value rule is met

There are 3 types of Discounts

  • Nominal Discount - A fixed dollar amount (e.g. $xx.xx) is applied to the cart
  • Nominal Discount per Item - A fixed dollar amount (e.g. $xx.xx) is applied to each ticket
  • Variable Discount (Cart)  - A percentage (%) discount is applied to the cart

Group Rules With Group Rules, you can define how many tickets from a Selected Group have to be selected for the discount to take effect. If the number of tickets in the Shopping Cart is betweem these two values, the discount will be applied to every ticket in the cart (not just the tickets triggering the rule)
Cart Rules Once a rule is defined, it will be automatically applied to every online purchase for that event.
